If you ask for an appointment, we will endeavour to offer you one as soon as possible at a convenient time. Private & Denplan: Patients receiving treatment at the practice under private arrangements have the added advantage of late evening appointments. NHS: The NHS ask us to provide a fixed, limited amount of NHS care each year, therefore we have to allocate our time and NHS budget accordingly. We have arrangments to provide urgent treatment at short notice. Urgent treatment means treatment that the dentist considers necessary to relieve severe pain or prevent your oral condition deteriorating before you can make a normal appointment. Charges apply for urgent appointments.
Cancellations: If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know as soon as possible so that we can use the appointment for another patient on our waiting list. Failed Appointments: NHS regulations state that we cannot charge patients for missed appointments. The practice policy is that if you fail two NHS appointments we will not be able to continue to offer you further NHS care within the practice.
If you fail your Private or Denplan appointment it is with regret that we will have to charge you for the time set aside for that appointment. |
