Dr Lindy Poole BChD (Stellenbosch 2000)
Lindy Poole qualified from the University of Stellenbosch, Cape Town, South Africa in June 2000. She completed a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry from the Eastman Dental Institute in 2006. Lindy worked as an associate for 8 years in a busy Private/Denplan practice in Cambridgeshire. She is keen to keep up to date and therefore attends numerous dental courses and conferences. She deals very well with nervous patients and children.
Outside of dentistry she enjoys travelling, sport (including golf), cooking, interior decorating, reading, horse riding, scuba diving and lots more!
Dr Krina Patel BDS (Manchester 2007) MJDF RCS (Eng)
Krina Patel qualified from Manchester Dental School in 2007. Following her vocational training year in general practice, she completed a Senior House Officier post in Oral-Maxillofacial Surgery at The Luton & Dunstable Hospital. Krina joined our practice as an associate in August 2009, she provides NHS, Private & Denplan treatment.
Krina enjoys dealing with nervous patients and has a special interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. In 2009, she obtained Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF RCS Eng) and she regularly attends continuing professional development courses to maintain and improve her skills.
Outside of dentistry, Krina enjoys keeping fit (especially running & spinning classes), travelling, skiing and cooking.
Dr Anisha Barai BDS (London 2009)
Anisha Barai graduated with Honours from Kings College, London in 2009. She completed her vocational training year at a general practice in Northampton. She joined our practice as an associate in August 2010 and provides NHS and Private treatment.
Anisha enjoys treating a wide variety of patients including adults, children and nervous patients. She particularly enjoys oral surgery and conservative treatment. Having passed part one of the MJDF examination, she is currently working towards the second part, and continues to keep up-to-date with new dental techiques by attending courses.
Outside of dentistry, Anisha enjoys travelling, sports - especially karate classes (she has attained her black belt), and she is also an avid Liverpool FC supporter!
Support Staff
Practice Manager: Cynthia Chapman
Cynthia joined our team in 2009. She qualified as a dental nurse in 1990 and has over 20 years dental practice experience. She achieved a qualification in Dental Radiography at the University of Hertfordshire in May 2001. Cynthia keeps her knowledge up-to-date by reading dental journals and attending courses.
In her spare time Cynthia enjoys going to the gym, socialising with her friends & family and shopping, she is also a huge tennis fan!
Receptionist: Karen Coventon
Karen joined our team in 2008. Karen is our receptionist but she is also a qualified dental nurse and she will be taking up dental nursing duties as & when required.
Karen spends most of her time outside of work with her son, they enjoy going to the park to play or to feed the ducks! When she does get time to herself - she enjoys reading a good novel and cooking delicious cakes!!
Nurses:
Holly Wiles
Holly joined our team in 2009. Holly is an enthusiastic, bubbly person who is eager to learn. She is currently working towards her dental nurse qualification.
In her spare time she enjoys horse riding, skiing and 'retail therapy', she loves animals - especially her puppy & cats!!
Kerrie Franks
Kerrie joined our team in June 2010 as a trainee dental nurse. She has recently started the dental nursing course at Bedford college.
Hannah Peddel
Hannah joined our team in July 2010 as a trainee dental nurse. She has recently started the dental nursing course at Bedford college.
